I am so tired of writers who are completely clueless about how to deal with phones. Either, they lost charge, on silence or ignored (nobody ignores calls from police) or no signal or the caller doesn’t know how to text or forget the phone in the car just as the police call. It’s pathetic watching how these writers squirm over how to deal with the ease of communication. These are some of the poor literary devices stemming from a lack of imagination current writers use to contrive and stretch drama because they can’t write around the most common device in our pockets. Deal with it man. Phones are a part of life now and they WORK 99.9% of the time.
Plenty of dramatic music and flash back but no drama! To the point it did not grip me or hold my attention so I decided while watching to see what reviews if any have been on it, I found 2 reviews scoring this series a lot higher than I would they both said you must pay attention to what happens to understand! This amused me as the way it has been written and produced does not grab any of my attention it is slow music over dramatic at times and frivolous at other times. All in all I am on the second episode and am very underwhelmed!
